Mr. Bibhu Dutta Das (M.A., LL.B) a practicing Advocate and Legal Consultant in Supreme Court of India and different High Courts in India. He has done his specialization in Constitutional Laws, Civil laws, Education law and laws relating to non-profit organizations. He is the legal consultant for several institutions engaged in the development sector. He has authored various legal books including “Where there is no Lawyer”, “Aama Aain” (Our Laws in Odia) and “Law of Minority” and Child Right. He is a resource person for legal education, both on secular laws and religious laws.
He is a Member, Supreme Court of India Bar Association, and life member, Orissa High Court Bar Association. He has represented before Justice Panigrahi Commission and Justice Naidu Commission. Few of his reported judgement are the judgment of NCMEI Court, Delhi(2010) on Rights of Minority School in the matter of Buckley Primary School vs State of Orissa), and the landmark Judgment of Supreme Court on Right to Education Act (BUNI vs Union of India) in the year 2012.
